What’s interesting is that the Fruit of the Spirit I reflected on this morning is patience. For each Fruit of the Spirit I chose a passage from Scripture to guide my reflection, and the one I chose for patience is Galatians 6:9: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” The passage can be applied in so many ways but for me it’s hopeful to remember that our endurance and patience will always be worth it. Even if things don’t happen how we want them to, there is always some benefit to continuing on in pursuit of good things. A YouTuber I watch talks about “turning your waiting room into a classroom” and it implies an active waiting, of continuing to pursue something and prepare for something even if it’s not time yet or you have to wait for it to become a reality, and so I also am trying to lean into that. 💛
I love when the Lord's nudges are timely, and the idea of active waiting is something that, I think so many people don't know how to do well. I know I for sure don't. But as we pursue Him, the Lord so beautifully meets us. Sitting here beside you friend.
This is what I have needed this week. Thank you, friend <3
Happy it found you when you needed it. <3
